The Essen-based start-up ScrapBees efficiently recycles scrap metal from construction sites. The team collects scrap metal on site, sorts it and recycles it professionally. NRW.BANK is supporting the company with growth capital via its NRW.SeedCap programme for a sustainable circular economy in NRW.
samplistick GmbH
The Düsseldorf start-up samplistick replaces conventional cosmetic samples with individually fillable sticks made from recycled PET. An accompanying app provides additional information on products and brands. NRW.BANK is supporting the start-up with an NRW.SeedCon convertible loan.
KIMAN Clothing UG
Cologne-based KIMAN manufactures sustainably recyclable sportswear in line with the cradle-to-cradle principle. To conserve resources, its founders developed a clothing take-back scheme in the spirit of the circular economy. NRW.BANK supported the launch of production and sales with a microloan via its NRW.Mikrodarlehen programme.
